Connections are the people you work with on Sessionwire. Once you're connected, you can call each other into a Session with one click and message any time with Sessionchat. Connections and Discover are free for every member.

Find people in Discover

Open Discover in the left sidebar. There are three ways to search:

• Creators lets you describe the person you're looking for, such as "mix engineer in Nashville who works in country". Gear and skills on people's profiles are searchable.
• Sound (beta) lets you describe a sound, and find creators whose tracks match. Turn on Include samples to include samples.
• Reference (beta) lets you drop in an audio file, up to 10 minutes, and find creators whose music sounds like it.

To find someone you already know, search for their Display Name.

Send a Connection Request

Click Connect next to their name. They get a notification and an email. Once they accept, you appear in each other's Connections list and the button shows Connected.

Call a Connection in

Click the phone icon next to their name in your Connections list. They get a pop-up and click to join your Studio. You can call free Members in as long as you have an active membership.

Groups

Use the Groups tab in your Connections list to keep people together, such as a band or a class, and to start group chats in Sessionchat.

Your tracks in Discover

My Tracks is where you keep the music you want people to hear. It's separate from your Vault. For each track, choose whether it shows on your profile (Show On Profile) and whether it can come up in Discover searches (Discoverable). New tracks aren't discoverable until you turn it on.

Stop Connection Requests

To stop people sending you requests, turn on Block Connection Requests in Settings > Notifications.
