How do I uninstall Sessionwire?

Uninstalling the Sessionwire plugins and drivers

macOS

To uninstall the Sessionwire plugins and drivers from a computer running macOS, delete the following files from your system:

  • Sessionwire audio drivers - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL
  • VST3 plug-ins - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3
  • Audio Units plug-ins - /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/components
  • AAX plug-ins - /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins
After removing the above files, restart the computer for the uninstall to take full effect.

Windows

To uninstall the Sessionwire plugins and drivers from a computer running Windows, delete the following files from your system:

  • Sessionwire folder - C:\Program Files\Sessionwire
  • VST3 plug-ins - C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3
  • AAX plug-ins - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Avid\Audio\Plug-Ins (AAX)

After removing the Sessionwire files, restart the computer for the uninstall to take full effect.
