You can update your card at any time from the Customer Portal.
Your next payment will use the new card. You can remove old or expired cards from the same menu.
Most failed payments are an expired card or a bank declining the charge. When one fails, Stripe, our payment provider, emails you and tries again, up to 8 times over two weeks.
Update your card in the Customer Portal and the next attempt will use it. Once the payment goes through, your membership carries on as normal.
While a payment is outstanding, you can't change your plan or cancel from the Customer Portal. If you'd rather cancel than pay, email support@sessionwire.com and we'll cancel the payment so the retries stop.
Some banks ask you to confirm a payment, for example with a code sent to your phone. If that happens, Stripe emails you a link to confirm it. If it isn't confirmed within 3 days, the payment and the new plan are cancelled and you can start again.
Yearly memberships renew automatically on the date you joined. Stripe emails you a reminder at least 7 days before. If your card has changed since last year, update it before the renewal date so the payment goes through the first time.
