Screen sharing lets everyone in the Session see your screen: your DAW, a plugin, a lyric sheet or a reference video. It's included on Basic, Studio and the free trial.
Share your screen
- In a Session, click Share Screen at the bottom of your Studio.
- Choose what to share: one window, or your entire screen.
- Confirm to start sharing.
Click Share Screen again to stop.
Show your plugins
Plugin windows are separate windows, so if you share only your DAW's window, nobody sees your plugins. Share your entire screen instead.
Things to know
- One person can share their screen at a time.
- Screen sharing shows your screen. To let people hear your DAW, use HQ Audio with the Send plugin. See Send your mix with the Send plugin.
- Sharing a very large or high-resolution screen uses more of your computer's power. If your computer struggles, share a single window or lower your screen resolution.
- Screen sharing lets people see your screen, not control it. For that, see Remote Desktop Control.
